The 1930's Arts & Crafts movement, also known as the Craftsman movement, venerated traditional craftsmanship using simple forms. Architecture was influenced predominately by Frank Lloyd Wright, while designer Gustav Stickley's furniture still influences designs of today. Our Yarra Line reflects the classic Craftsman designs with its hand-hewed, hand-rubbed finishing of solid, plantation-grown teak wood.
Our chairs are painstakingly hand-crafted and hand-finished, making each piece unique. Enjoy the natural variations created by the organic materials used and the hand-craftsmanship, knowing that no other chair will be exactly like yours.
By its nature, solid wood will breath and experience slight movement in different weather conditions enhancing the one-of-a-kind character of each piece; small amounts of checking (small cracks) may be present.
